point - post office, for Antarctic bound mail. Here's how it works- our special
FDC, plain envelope; or your envelope, is posted from the South Pole Station,
Antarctica- this is the Geographic South Pole, using Antarctica Post stamps. Our
Post Master applies the South Pole Cache to your mail and your mail is airlifted
back to Christchurch; and then onto Antarctica Post Agency in Dunedin, sorted
and sent to your address. You may provide your own cover or hand painted cover,
as long as it is flat, or purchase our special aerogrammes, cards and covers -
which you can request addressed or left blank. In addition, with the First Day
of issue we recieve a small number of covers, cards and aerogrammes that can be
purchased and addressed or left blank. Other Antarctica Post philatelic items
